Volbeat je danski heavy metal,hard rock i rockabilly bend osnovan u Kopenhagenu 2001.godine kada je Michael Poulsen napustio bend Dominus.
Inspirirani su rock n roll legendama Elvis Presleyem i Johnny Cashem.
Trenutno su pod Mascot Recordsima i izdali su 3 studijska albuma:"The Strength / The Sound / The Songs","Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil" i "Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood",2 albuma su bila zlatna u Danskoj,a platinum je bio album "Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil".
Ime benda dolazi s albuma "Vol.Beat" benda Dominus.
Otvorili su "Roskilde Festival" u 2007.,takoder su bili predgrupa zajedno s bendom Mnemic na koncertu Metallice u Danskoj (13.7.2007.).
